Legal Services Included in Equine Legal Service Packages
- Review of existing contracts and legal advice regarding same.
- Telephone, email, or live consultations relating to legal issues, questions, or disputes relating to your horse business.
- Drafting agreements or letters to address specific issues relating to your horse business.
- Preparation of a business plan tailored to your horse business.
- Legal strategies for reducing liability and tax exposure in your business.
- Other matters agreed upon by the firm and the client.
Litigation
- The bringing or defending of law suits is not included in the Equine Legal Service Packages.
- If you or your business is sued in connection with equine-related activities, you should first check with your insurance carrier to determine whether your insurance carrier will cover the legal defense of your claim.
- For all litigation claims not covered by insurance, the firm may be retained at an hourly rate. Please contact us for more information regarding hourly rates.
